
Email configuration on
Microsoft Outlook Express
To configure your Windows computer for email
access we need to configure the program Outlook Express.
1. Open the Outlook Express program. Usually can be found as an
icon on the Desktop, or on the Programs section of the Start Menu.
2. Now click on the
Tools menu
and select Accounts.
3. On the
Internet Accounts
window, at your left click on the Mail
tab, make sure the white box below the tabs do not have any previous
email account. If previous accounts exists, remove them before
continue. Now click on the Add
button at the top right, and select Mail.
4. At the
Display name
field enter your first and last name, then click
Next.
5. Type your Mundolink e-mail address in the
E-mail address box, then click
Next. The address usually is your username@mundolink.net.
6. Now we have to specify the e-mail server. First check that the
smaller field says: POP3. In the lower fields type
the following:
- Incoming mail server:
pop3.mundolink.net
- Outgoing mail server:
pop3.mundolink.net
Then press Next.
7. Enter your username and password and press
Next.
8. Now press
Finish to
complete the email configuration..
9. You are now back into the Internet Accounts window. An account
with the name pop3.mundolink.net should be listed. If this is the
case just press Close. If mundolink is not shown on the list you
must repeat the steps again.
You have
configured Outlook Express for your email account.
